Siargao Island

This is Siargao's Boardwalk. Really feels great spending the sunny, windy afternoons with your dear friends right here.. Especially if a lot of surfers are around. You'll just love seeing them all sun kissed (most of them sun burnt actually), with their colorful board shorts and very cool surf boards! No wonder why Siargao's been tagged as the Philippines' surfing capital. Check out her beauty here: http://www.siargaoislands.net/

After a long day basking under the sun and roaming around the whole island, I checked out Kawayan Resort which was fortunately just outside Kesa Resort where we were staying. Peaceful place! French-owned restaurant with billiard tables, a nice bar and few pretty couch.. Most of their customers are french (the owner's friends) and some locals (the owner's wife is a local).. Food and drinks are affordable and a lot of good looking faces to see :) You can check out Kesa Resort's Rates here http://www.dutchpickle.com/philippines/siargao-island/kesa-cloud-9-resort-siargao.html and ofcourse, my favorite http://www.kawayansiargaoresort.com/

At the boardwalk. Had to borrow this one from a local (just for a few minutes). I was scared to hell-- the waves are just almost crushing me!

White, powdery sand all over the island!

The view from the pump boat. We rode a pump boat from Socorro Island to Siargao! Mesmerizing! --and at the same time a scary ride!
